War is always devastating and results in the tragic loss of countless innocent lives. In a perfect world war would not be necessary because all leaders would be rational and could peacefully work things out. However, the sad truth is that there is great deal of evil in human nature. When this evil shows itself in the likes of manic, like Adolf Hitler, for example, then other countries often have no choice but to fight back. Their only other option would be submission and/ or destruction.
I agree that the wars have to be fought and that we cannot always talk it out, but not all wars were fought for economic advantage. Just take World War 2 for example, Hitler was not killing Jewish people for economic advantage, but because he thought that Jewish people were lower then Germans.
